One equipment family, a defined request

Specify the spraying system as a whole

Catalog entries are inquiry options. Exact models, availability and supplier scope are confirmed after review.

Pump & power

Identify PTO, hydraulic or electric supply, the required flow at working pressure, and chemical-contact materials. Pump headline capacity alone does not describe the configured system.

Nozzle & boom

Record nozzle body connections, tip type, spacing and control requirements. Ask for the relevant flow chart and operating instructions before accepting a substitute.

Replacement parts

Provide part references, dimensions and photos after contact. Keep seals, strainers and repair kits on separate lines with quantities and compatibility questions.

Questions before a crop sprayer RFQ

What makes two factory offers comparable?

Keep tank capacity, flow, pressure and application rate identical across quotes. List the same boom, nozzle set, controls and spare parts. Request currency, packing, delivery basis, exclusions and warranty responsibility separately; a unit price cannot explain a different scope.

Do I need a quotation or a fixed budget first?

No existing quote is needed. A target budget is optional; give its currency and whether it covers one unit or the whole order. Premium, mid-range and budget-friendly are your preferences for discussion, not verified supplier grades.

Should a ground boom or drone define my request?

A ground boom requires access, traction and adequate clearance. A drone changes the payload, refill, power and operator planning questions. Avoid transferring a ground application rate or nozzle assumption to another method without product-specific review. We focus this inquiry on the equipment family and written compatibility checks.

How are MOQ, samples and the arrival date handled?

Ask for each supplier's MOQ and whether a sample or a component test is available, including its cost. Treat the seasonal delivery date as a target until manufacturing, freight and destination arrangements are confirmed. Read the procurement checklist for a consistent brief.
