Farm field with equipment access lanes

Applications & replacement scope

Agricultural sprayer parts for the actual field conditions

A part name is a starting point. Record the installed assembly, crop setting and operating limits so a replacement can be checked against the system in use.

Three settings that change the parts brief

Boom sprayer operating layout for broadacre planning

Broadacre boom systems

Provide boom working width, nozzle spacing, section-control arrangement and the target application rate. A pump or strainer substitution needs an operating-pressure and flow check; a connection that fits does not establish the required duty.

Ask for the pump curve or flow information at your proposed pressure. Record any agitation requirement and identify whether a stated flow includes flow reserved elsewhere in the system.

Vegetable production rows and equipment access

Vegetable & specialty crops

Describe row spacing, canopy layout, access width and the intended coverage task. Keep nozzle or discharge-pattern alternatives separate, with their recommended operating conditions and model-specific flow charts.

Request chemical compatibility for seals, hoses and wetted materials. A general material description cannot confirm compatibility with every formulation, concentration or cleaning practice.

Sprayer maintenance bench for distributor spares

Distributor maintenance inventory

Use equipment and component references, dimensions and quantities for each stock line. Define whether the requested item is a full assembly, a service kit or an individual tip so suppliers quote the same unit basis.

Keep packaging labels and repair instructions in the comparison. Ask who handles a mismatched part, how warranty claims are documented and which consumables the quoted warranty excludes.

Choose the method before comparing parts

Ground boom spraying and drone spraying create different operating questions. A ground system needs suitable traction, access and clearance; an aerial configuration changes payload, refill logistics, power arrangements and operator requirements. Neither method is a universal choice. Check the specific product, application conditions and destination requirements before comparing a nozzle or application-rate assumption across methods.

For an incoming sample, agree a fit and function review using the intended connections and the maker's instructions. Check dimensions against the original assembly, record the test fluid and operating pressure, inspect for leaks under the agreed procedure and retain the result with the model reference. Chemical service requires a separate compatibility confirmation; a clean-water check does not establish it.

Our nozzle buying guide explains which figures to hold constant. Product-family terminology is informed by manufacturer sprayer information; that reference is not a supply endorsement.

Three units to clarify in every comparison

These are specification labels, not performance claims. Application rate, nozzle spacing and working speed must also be provided for the actual request.
